Bulgaria participates in the EU Intelligent Energy Project “BEHAVE”

Bulgaria is one of the 40 countries that take part in the EU Intelligent Energy project "BEHAVE" which is presented by the Agency for Energetic Efficiency (AEE).
AEE's executive director - Tasko Ermenkov figured out that the Bulgarian saving energy task assigned (at the present moment amounts at 10%) could be three times increased by applying more efficient energy save projects.
EU has assigned that by 2020 the unhealthy emissions should be decreased up to 20%. The energy efficiency should be raised with 20% and the usage of renewable energy sources should be increased up to 20%.
According to the Bulgarian energy efficiency program plan the save of energy is expected to increase as follows: 3 % till 2010, 6 %-till 2013, 10% till 2016.
The extension is believed to appear from projects in areas as "Transport" ,"Services", "Agriculture" and household.
