There shall be sanctions if the work week is more than 40 hours long. Fathers shall be able to use 15 days leave after their baby is dismissed from the hospital as foreseen in other amendments of the code. Except the 15 days leave fathers shall be able to replace mothers in raising their children. They shall be able to do so in the last 3 months of the 315 days maternity leave in which the mother receives 90 % of her salary as announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Politics - Emilia Maslarova. Amendments in the labour legislation also foresee that an employer's duty shall be to provide conditions for qualification of employers who has been missing from work for a long period of time. Minister Maslarova assured that because of the electricity's increase the energy reliefs for the socially weak shall be increased from 180 BGN to 260 BGN.
