The Notary chamber in Bulgaria

On 12th of April, 2008, the Notary chamber organized the first "Opened notary days" in Bulgaria's capital Sofia, Plovdiv, Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Rousse, Pleven, Lovech and Gabrovo. Since the new amendments of the Notary Activities and Notaries Act came to force the present situation for verified by Notaries documents (power of attorneys, notary deeds, etc.) has changed. Not many people are fully aware of what documents they can verify, what kind of papers are needed for a notary deal and many other specific details about the notary's work and activity. According to the exposed by the Notary chamber data more than 1 500 citizens have received free consultations in the field of family law and the right of inheritance.
