Unconscientiously delay of court cases in Bulgarian courts shall be terminated with a special act

Members of the Supreme Judicial council were in Bruxelles last week. The chairman of the Commission for international legal collaboration to the Supreme Judicial council - Ivan Dimov - is convinced that the court system needs to be reformed. According to him the unconscientiously delay of court cases in Bulgarian courts should be ceased by a legal stipulation. He also adds that all magistrates should keep track of suspiciously delayed cases and try to prevent any legal deviations.During the conversations there was no straight criticism directed to the Bulgarian court system but problems in the conduct and realization of the judicial reform were pointed. Mr Dimov specified that there are problems with some sections of the judicial system. But the special politic of Supreme Judicial council is making progress and must continue its work.
