The new Bulgarian Minister of Justice Mrs Margarita Popova announced the members of the Council of Magistrates

For the first time in the history of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice a Council of Magistrates is formed. It will deal with the implementation of the European Union's recommendations to the Bulgarian judiciary. The Council of Magistrates consists of 7 members - three judges, three public prosecutors and one examining magistrate. Minister Margarita Popova also announced the names of her vice-ministers. They are Ms Janeta Petrova from the Supreme Administrative Court, Ms Daniela Masheva from the the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Cassation and Mr Hristo Angelov from the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor's Office. Their main task is to continue the reformation and modernization of the Bulgarian judiciary.
