The new Bulgarian government was elected by the National Assembly

The new Bulgarian Prime Minister is Mr Boiko Borisov. He was elected with huge majority by the National Assembly. Minutes later The Council of Ministers was elected as well. The number of ministries is reduced compared to the last government. The Council of Ministers has sixteen members as one of them is a Minister without portfolio. There are two vice-ministers - the Minister of Finance Mr Simeon Dyankov and the Minister of Interior Mr Tsvetan Tsvetanov. Other important figures in the government are the Minister of Justice Mrs Margarita Popova, the Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Mr Traicho Traikov and the Minister of Culture - the famous sculptor Mr Vezhdi Rashidov. The newly elected Bulgarian government has huge credibility among the society. It is expected that the 50th Bulgarian Prime Minister will cope with the economic crisis and continue the good relations with the European Union.
