The Government submits for ratification two agreements between Bulgaria and the USA for improvement of the justice system in Bulgaria

The Government endorsed the signed on the 19th of September, 2007 agreements between Bulgaria and the USA for extradition and legal help in criminal cases and offered the National Assembly to ratify them. 
The Extradition agreement eases the mutual pursuit of criminals who has deviated from penal prosecution or escaped punishment inflicted with enforceable judgment. The document is in conformity with the Bulgarian legislation and the European standards.
The Agreement for legal help foresees that Bulgaria and the USA shall collaborate on prevention, distortion and pursuit/prosecution of crimes and also on legal proceedings of criminal cases.
