The Bulgarian Ministry of Justice helps the improve of international judicial database

The Bulgarian Ministry of Justice organized a conference, on which the Unified Judicial database project was discussed. The project is an important part of the efforts for strengthening the European cooperation in the criminal justice field. Its purpose is to improve the mechanisms associated with the exchange of information from criminal records between member countries of the European Union, as announced at the opening forum of the Bulgarian Minister of Justice Meglena Tacheva. The project has particular importance in the prevention of crime and the development of the area of freedom, security and justice in the EU. By participating in the project Bulgaria will contribute to its enrichment. Bulgaria is the first country using the Cyrillic alphabet that became part of it. The forum was attended by experts from 17 EU member - states and the European Commission.
