Bulgaria has entirely harmonized its legislation to that of the EU

Bulgaria is the only one state member of the EU who has achieved 0% deficit introducing inner market EU directives. Bulgaria is the first state member that has ever obtained such a result incorporating directives in its national legislation.
This means that since 1997 - when was the first review of the inner market field - till the present moment, there's been no other country to accomplish an entire introduction of the directives of the European Common wealth. These statements are reported in Charley McCreevey's (European commissioner) latest survey on EU results related to incorporation and appliance of the European legislation in inner market field.
Reviews like that happen once in every six months. Their significance is huge, because legislation regarding inner market covers 90 % of the entire European legislation.
The excellent Bulgarian position is an appreciation of the efficient monitoring and collaboration mechanism introducing European legislation to the national one, realized by the European Matters Council.
