The Bulgarian hotel and tourist sector will remain stable and profitable in 2009

In 2008 the number of the tourists visited Bulgaria increased with over 8% of the previous years and the tourist agencies expect the same for 2009.
A profit at the amount of approximately 4 billion euro is also foreseen this year despite the global financial crisis. Half of which will come from foreign tourists and the other part will be gained through accommodating and servicing Bulgarian clients.
Four of the biggest and luxurious hotel chains as Marriott, Hyatt, Movenpick and Intercontinental decided to come and step on the Bulgarian market in 2009. They will first open their representations in Bulgarian's capital - Sofia.
