“Right of retention” - The right of retention is governed by the Commercial Act and the Contracts and Obligations Act.There are no specific regulations with respect to the right of retention in case of lease relation. Generally, the landlord has no right of retention with respect to the movable assets of the tenant as a security for the payment of the lease price or any other receivable related to the lease relation.
