Bulgaria joined a fraud fight agreement between EU and Switzerland

The Bulgarian Ministry Council decided that Bulgaria shall adhere to the abovementioned agreement. Its main purpose is to increase mutual and administrative legal assistance in the following areas: fraud prevention, detection, prosecution and restriction as well as fight against all kinds of illegal activities in regard to financial interests of the parties.
The agreement foresees information and evidence exchange, joint operations and other kinds of collaboration. It was also proposed that one or more central departments shall be founded in state-members with the purpose of receiving administrative assistance requirements and assigning them to the competent bodies.
Central infringement bodies in Bulgaria, whose decisions may lead to a criminal court procedure, shall be Supreme Administrative Prosecutor's Office and Ministry of Justice. The abovementioned Ministry is said to be the body receiving and sending civil case applications in regard to penalty procedures till the penalty court has not pronounced a sentence.
